The 2010 Baltimore County Kennel Club's All Breed Conformation and Obedience/Rally Match is scheduled for August 29, 2010.

This event will be held at the Oregon Ridge Recreational Park in Cockeysville, MD. Judges are to be announced shortly.

The Columbia Terrier Association of Maryland  (CTAM)
will again hold their annual Match as our Terrier Group. There will be only one group, no short and long leg classes as last year.
Their judge is Robert V.Moore III of Ashton, MD.
The Columbia Terrier Match winners will compete for Best Adult, Best Puppy, and Best in Match for Baltimore County KC Match. Entries can be made on this website, but please take care to make the checks out to them!

This year we are happy to announce that the Chesapeake Toy Dog Fanciers Club is joining us to make their first fun match as our BCKC Toy Group. The judge will be Carol Gosweller of Stewartstown, PA.
The Group winners will participate as the BCKC Toy Group and therefore compete for BCKC Best Puppy, Best Adult, and Best in Match.
Please note that all checks are to made to them, but Toy dogs can be registered on this website.

The 2010 Baltimore County Match
Rules and Regulations.

Please, no flexie leads in Ring areas.
Parking will all be up on hill on the paved lot. 
Handicapped parking will be provided down the hill in one specified area only. 
There is ample space to set up tents, crates and chairs, but cars must be removed after unloading!

  • This is an AKC Sanctioned Breed, Obedience & Rally Match. 
  • Micro-chip and DNA Clinic courtesy of Hunt Valley Animal Hospital. 
  • Photographer will be at the event. 

Professional Handlers may only show their own dogs. Titled dogs and major pointed dogs may show FOR EXHIBITION ONLY in classes where eligible or titled.

Entry Fee: $7.00 for pre-entry and $9.00 Day of Match.

Participants may pre-register by clicking on Match Reg. on our site menu to the left. Please be mindful of who to make the checks out to and where to send them as no money can be taken on this site.
All 'Day of' Entries will be taken from 8:00 AM to 9:15 AM

Tentative Time Scheduling
The 5 Ring Conformation Match will start at 9:45 AM.
The Obedience (Ring 6) and Rally (Ring 7)  will start at 10:00 AM (Entries end at 9:30 AM)

Ring 1 -Juniors will be Judged at 9:30 AM
followed by Hound Group classes
9:45 AM 
Ring 2 - Working Group classes
Ring 3 - Sporting Group classes
Ring 4 - Terrier Group classes
Ring 5 - Toy Group classes

Directions to Match:
Oregon Ridge Park, Beaver Dam Road, Cockeysville, MD
From Baltimore Beltway (I-695), take I-83 North to Exit 20-B, Shawan Road West.
At the first traffic light turn left on to Beaver dam Road.
Go 1/2 mile to the Park's main entrance on the right.
Go to the left hand parking lot at the top of the hill to park and unload.

This year BCKC will again have the food catered by Jacki & Joe's Deli & Catering of Hunt Valley. Everyone loved their over sized breakfast and lunch sandwiches, delicious deserts and drinks.
